For those who don't know, I am a college student under a school of animation. To further studies, mostly as at-home study, I am going to start working on a storyline for an animated cartoon; hopefully a series. Before I really start to work on this, however, I've decided to go around and take opinions from the general public - or, at least, those interested in the animated stuff. Its the 2D animation I'm working on, as can be seen on my Youtube; currently uploaded there is a run cycle which I have been using as a test for Gimp animation, and eventually I'll have it in full color with a background; this both gives me a bit of training and lets people know my current stage in 2D animation.

Now, for the actual poll part xD What I'm asking for are opinions on what genre and theme people are looking for. For example; what would you like to see in a new animated movie based around a female lead? (I've already decided on heroine with possibly a few others, the whole 'team' aspect.) Also, I must say beforehand that I'm much better at animating animals and creatures rather than humans, but I am not incapable of animating the human figure...but it sure is boring to do so. That's the so-called 'theme' I'm also asking opinions for.

If you choose to respond (and I sincerely hope you do ^^) Please include in your post, if you will, a genre (action, drama, or a huge mixture for a storyline-heavy cartoon), a theme (animals, anthro, human, alien, or even invented creatures), and a few possible character types for the lead role or accompanying characters. Any help at all would be appreciated, as its always difficult for me to work on something this big alone...my attention tends to fray sometimes ^^ All comments will be appreciated, and thank you for your time!
